Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Integrated Biomedical Science Graduate Program. This exciting PhD program is composed of researchers across the University of South Carolina campus who are actively engaged in biomedical research.  This includes faculty and students from the School of Arts and Sciences (Department of Biological Sciences and Department of  Chemistry and Biochemistry), School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy and School of Public Health (Department of Exercise Science).  This program is designed to provide the student training that integrates diverse areas of the biomedical sciences.  Students in this program have the opportunity to work side-by-side with faculty researchers in a wide range of biomedical specialties including cancer, nanomaterials, neuroscience, cell biology, cardiovascular science, microbiology, complimentary medicine and many other areas.  Use the links on this page to learn more about our program or contact Ms. Ansley Roberts, the program administrator, for additional information.
